Now Part of Process Lasso
Let group-unaware apps use the whole CPU. On Windows PCs with more than one processor group (more than 64 logical processors), apps that aren’t group aware are confined to a single group. The Processor Group Extender lets them use every group.
How It Works
This novel algorithm dynamically assigns an app’s active threads to supplemental processor groups as they’re needed, so the app can use the full CPU instead of being constrained to one group.
